Il Fornaio located at 8000 East Belleview Avenue Greenwood Village is one of the mostpopular restaurants in the entire city of Denver.  Il Fornaio’s award-winning authentic Italian cuisine is a favorite in Greenwood Village. Luca D’Italia located at 711 Grant Avenue in Denver has gained its reputation as one of the best Italian restaurants in Denver.  One of the main factors is the wait staff is very knowledgeable and can answer almost every question pertaining to food and wine choices to accompany the meal chosen.  Chef Frank Bonanno used his Sicilian heritage and east coast roots to create this authentic Italian Eatery. As soon as one walks in, they will notice the brightly painted walls and contemporary art that create an upscale feel at Luca D’Italia, where knowledgeable servers quickly meet your needs and engage easily in conversation about a menu that changes monthly. Luca has amazing personal touches from the daily made breads and pastas to the meats and cheeses that are cured in house.  You cannot go wrong with any choice that is made from their expansive menu.

Gabriel’s Restaurant at 5450 Manhart Street in Sedalia is just outside of the Denver metro area but it is worth the drive for the type of dining experience that one can have at Gabriel’s.  The drive to Gabriel’s from the center of Denver can take up to 40 minutes but once you step into Gabriel’s and have a taste of their food, you would have driven two hours to taste Italian food as good as this.  Gabriel’s features elegant Northern Italian fine dining serving the greater Denver area for over 20 years now. Gabriel’s specializes in four-course dining so you won’t just get an entree. Your evening will begin with an appetizer, followed by soup and salad, then the entree of your choice which is served with pasta or potato rosette and fresh vegetables. The extensive wine list offers a huge variety to compliment any dinner.

Pagliacci’s located at 1440 W 33rd Ave in Denver boasts a 1940s-era interior, and a casual environment that’s ideal for dinner visits. This food is authentic Italian and the house specialty is their minestrone soup and is a restaurant mainstay. They also serve other Italian favorites such as, Eggplant parmigiana, spaghetti, ravioli, lasagna, and other Italian standbys are sure to please as well. Before leaving it is almost a must to sample the spumoni or a dish of tiramisu.

At Panzano’s, located at 909 17th St in Denver, you’re sure to enjoy great northern Italian dishes prepared in an open kitchen. Chef Elise Wiggins’ contemporary Northern Italian cuisine delights at Panzano’s. Items such as, the homemade ravioli, spaghetti, and lasagna are traditional favorites.  There is also a nice wine list that offers American and Italian vintages. There are many signature items, but if you have to try one, it would have to be the Agnello Griglia, which is a grilled lamb T-bones with rosemary, mint and red wine reduction.  There are many other signatures to try and every one of them has its own unique flavor that is worth a try.

Undici Ristorante located at 1200 E Hampden Ave in Englewood brings flavorful Italian cuisine to south Denver.  They have some of the most inventive main dishes like lobster pâté-filled ravioli, gnocchi in veal sauce with porcini mushrooms, and seafood cioppino that are sure not to disappoint. All of the desserts are tempting but none more so than the classic tiramisu in espresso and cream.
