Lola located at 1575 Boulder St. in Denver is a unique dining experience that will make you feel like you’re on vacation. Lola’s indoor/outdoor bar overlooking the city is home to over 125 different tequilas and cocktails that are reminiscent of those you’d find at a beach side cafe in Mexico. The food speaks for itself at this Mexican restaurant with Chef Jamey Fader preparing dishes that you’ll find nowhere else in Denver, with innovative Mexican and Latin American fare with an emphasis on seafood. It is imperative to try fresh guacamole prepared tableside, sample seafood enchiladas, or choose from a wide variety of fish, grilled to perfection with tasty sauces. Desserts include homemade sorbet and blackberry almond cake.  The freshest ingredients and the unique flavors will keep you coming back for more.  You cannot go wrong with a margarita and one of their famous authentic Mexican dishes.

El Taco de Mexico located at 714 Santa Fe Dr in Denver is home to traditional Mexican eats offered at very affordable prices. The menu is expansive and favorites include tacos filled with your choice of beef cheeks, carnitas, and even brains. Cilantro, lime, salsa, and onion dress them flavorfully. Chiles rellenos, burritos, huevos rancheros, and green chili are also good enough to turn anybody into a regular. They also have refreshing fruit drinks and flan as sweet options at the end of your meal.

Jack-N-Grill located at 2524 Federal Blvd in Denver has been open since 2000 next to and Jack-n-Grill has received several local dining awards each year for its slew of Mexican staples including its chile bowls, where you can choose between green chile with pork and the vegetarian red and its Mexican-designed burgers. They also have some of the best ranchero tacos, a Frito pie or a carne asada burrito.  Meals are available for dine-in and takeout. The decor inside is charming and colorful, and painted in the bright, earthy tones often associated with south-of-the-border architecture.

Sabor Latino located at 4340 W 35th Ave in Denver delivers exceptional Mexican and South American fare at reasonable prices. One bite of a homemade empanada and you’ll know you’ve made the right choice. Burritos, tamales, and enchiladas also line the menu, but the paella on Fridays and Saturdays, and the rib eye topped with a fried egg are the signature dishes and the favorites of all customers who frequent this Mexican restaurant.

Tamayo located at 1400 Larimer St in Denver is the brainchild of Chef Richard Sandoval, winner of the 1992 chef of the year in Mexico, Sandoval decided on opening as unique a Mexican restaurant as he could imagine.  Tamayo has a bar stocked with sophisticated tequilas, wines and sundry drinks.  The menu includes seafood-stuffed chili rellenos, chicken breast smothered in dark mole and crisp-skinned fresh salmon with a touch of mustard.  Tamayo is known for being one the most unique Mexican restaurants in all of Denver. 

Mezcal located at 3230 E Colfax Ave in Denver is an authentic Mexican taqueria and cantina serving home-style Mexican food, fresh lime Margaritas and over 100 Tequilas and Mezcals. The restaurants award-winning house Margarita is made with 30-30 100% Agaves silver. Chef Robert Diaz’s kitchen offers up many dishes that reflect his native Chihuahua roots while others are regional staples that draw upon the varied culinary traditions of old México. The menu features familiar favorites like tacos and tamales, as well as lesser known dishes like pozole and a savory lamb barbacoa.
