It’s a place where families can share bites of chocolate chip-studded cannolis, busting strombolis, and melt in your mouth calzones Virgilio’s parades 17 specialty pizzas that range from the House Favorite white pizza topped with ricotta, garlic, sausage, sundried tomatoes and spinach; to the Dean Martin with bacon, garlic and fresh basil. Proto’s Pizza located at 2401 15th St in Denver serves Irresistible, thin-crust, Italian country-style pizza.  Their Neapolitan pizza is the original pizza from Naples, Italy. Their top of the line toppings include San Marzano tomatoes, house made mozzarella, imported Italian meats, and fresh herbs like basil, oregano, rosemary and arugula. Salads are elevated to an art form, most notably the Rustica, a forest of romaine lettuce, sliced red and green apples, roasted walnuts, pear tomatoes and Gorgonzola.  This Denver pizza establishment has the right taste for anyone.
